We are part game studio, part team building company. We’re the company you call when your team wants to have fun together for an hour, and it needs to be done virtually. There it is, that’s our company in two sentences :)

Hosted Games are run by our Hosts aka REAL PEOPLE who will join your game virtually (ie. on Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)! If you’re playing a Game Show or one of our Mini-Game Challenges, they’ll be the Host & Co-Host of the game. If you’re playing one of our escape rooms, they’ll either be a slightly corrupt Warden, a Yeoman’s Warder, a Spy, an Elf…you get the idea. These Hosts, who are highly experienced team building extraordinaires and hype men/women, are part of the experience of each game we make and are there to guide your team and make sure they have an incredible experience in the time you’re with us.

Our On-Demand Games do not have a Host. These games will require you to run them yourself (of course, with comprehensive instructions provided on how to do so!) via the game code that we’ll provide to you upon checkout. But don’t worry, our Live Chat is monitored by our team 24x7 in case you have any questions or issues with your game! Our On-Demand Games are priced lower than their equivalent Hosted Game to give us something to offer everyone at different price points :D

Actually, yes we do. We operate our business with one simple philosophy - we will be able to run games for clients at any time, any day, and in any timezone that they want, period. This means that no matter how many participants you have or how obscure your timezone is, we will always accept your reservation!

Because of that, we have over 100 Hosts on staff, and would you believe that we even employ a team whose sole job is to find new people that we think would make amazing Hosts and train them to facilitate as many of the different games that we have as possible!

Yes! We can assign you Hosts that speak English, Mandarin Chinese, Cantonese, Bahasa Melayu/Indonesia, French, Spanish, Russian, Polish, Tagalog or Ukrainian! If you would like a non-English speaking host, you can request this at the checkout page. However, please do note that all of our game content is currently only available in English and Spanish.

Our games are available for booking 24 hours a day / 7 days a week! While we have never turned a client down due to lack of availability, we do kindly ask that groups up to 30 participants give us at least 2 days’ notice, and groups of greater than 30 participants give us at least 1 weeks’ notice (especially during the month of December).

The largest group we’ve ever hosted was 1,250 participants! If your group falls under that, then it will be no problem for us to host you. If your group is larger than that, reach out to us over phone, chat or email. We should be able to support you, but there may be some technical limitations with the mainstream videoconferencing software that we’ll need to work around. Don’t worry, we’re experts at this stuff so you don’t have to be!

For all of our Hosted Games, you can choose to pay either 100% up-front or make a 30% deposit. If you choose to make the 30% deposit, we will issue you an invoice to pay the remaining balance after the game is completed. Have additional participants joining last minute? No worries! We will add those participants to the final invoice.

For all of our On-Demand Games, we accept 100% payment up-front.

If MORE participants turn up than expected: You can add as many participants as you’d like, even at the last minute! If you can give us a heads up at least an hour or two before the activity starts, then we’ll also be able to add more Hosts to cater to your larger group. We have over 100 Hosts on staff, so this is no problem for us!

If LESS participants turn up than expected: As long as you let us know at least 72 hours before your activity how many participants you’ll be expecting, we’ll be happy to refund you the deposit difference if that number is lower than what you originally expected! However, within 72 hours we will lock in the minimum number of participants as we also need to schedule our Hosts and can’t cancel on them at the last minute.

Also please do note that NO FIREWALL TESTING IS REQUIRED for all of our Game Shows (The Feud, Jeoparty, Price Is Precise) and all of our Olympics games (The Office Olympics, The Holiday Olympics, The Halloween Olympics, The Summer Olympics). All of these games are run by our Hosts, so players do not need to login to anything except the videoconference call!

We will send you a unique Game Code within a few hours of your purchase, as well as comprehensive instructions on how to run your game. If there’s any issue, we provide 24x7 support via email, live chat, and phone. So don’t worry, we’ll be there with you every step of the way to make sure your game runs smoothly!

In your order confirmation, we will have listed our phone number and live chat link. All you need to do is get a hold of us, and we’ll jump right in to help you troubleshoot the issue! We will do everything we can to help, even if it means jumping on a quick video call with you :)

Our Hosted Activities are all 45 to 90 minutes in duration, moderated by our amazing team members, and feature gaming experiences that we’ve hand picked and developed specifically for a virtual format. Many of these activities utilize breakout rooms, so we provide 1 host for every ~5 participants to make sure you have all the energy and hype you need to have a great time! For around the price of a movie ticket, we’ll treat you to a fun, unique experience that you’ll never forget.

Our activities are available for booking 24 hours a day / 7 days a week! We support all of the “Big Four” platforms - Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and Webex by Cisco. Don’t use one of those platforms? No problem. If we can download it and it has breakout rooms, we can use it :)

We recommend you to join the activity from a computer browser for the best experience. Our activities incorporate a number of games and puzzles that are best played and viewed from a computer.

Yes! We recommend our games for ages 13 and up, but can accommodate players of all ages. Some game content may be too difficult for players under 13 and an adult (18 or older) must participate with anyone under 15.

Our headquarters is in Singapore, where we are incorporated as Runaway Games Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202116535N). However, our team members are spread all over the world! We currently have teammates in the US, Jamaica, India, Peru, the Philippines, Malaysia, the UK, and Ukraine. We’re proud to be a remote-first company, and our team is distributed worldwide.
